The Champions League is back, and so are the rooms. Five English clubs are in the 2026/27 league phase, which means five sets of fan channels going live at once: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa. No Chelsea. No Spurs. The streams that matter tonight belong to the clubs who actually got through.
Arsenal’s is the one that will clip all week. Real Madrid at the Emirates, Bayern Munich away, Dortmund at home. The Goonerverse put the full eight on screen while James talked over it: Betis away, Lille at home, Napoli away, then Sabah and Slavia Prague. AFTV were already up, title card screaming that the Champions League is back.
Liverpool’s night looks kinder on paper, which is exactly the sort of sentence that winds Kop channels up. Atletico at Anfield, Inter away, Porto at home, Club Brugge away, Villarreal, a trip to Fenerbahce, Lens and LASK. Chris and Dan were on The Redmen TV as it landed.
United are back in this competition for the first time since 2023/24, and The United Stand’s draw stream was the loudest in the search. Stretford Paddock had the list on screen: Bayern at Old Trafford, Atletico away, Roma at home, Sporting away, Leipzig, Villarreal, Sabah and Como. Goldbridge’s show is the flagship for a club that has spent two years watching this draw from the sofa.
Villa’s return is the other half of that story. Europa League winners, Pot 2, and immediately PSG at home and Barcelona away, plus Dortmund, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce at home and Galatasaray away. City didn’t throw up a dedicated fan-channel stream in the same window, but the draw itself is not quiet: PSG at the Etihad, Barcelona away, Sporting, Porto, Napoli, Leipzig, AEK and Lens. Maresca’s first proper European map, and the City channels will be on it by morning.
Same-country clubs cannot play each other in this phase, so the English five dodge one another until the knockouts. League-phase football starts 8–10 September.
